Sunny Shams, tenor
Coming from musical roots as a jazz singer and pianist, Sunny Shams, from Sidney BC, began studying opera at the Victoria Conservatory of Music. He then joined the UBC Opera Program, performing roles in Die Fledermaus and La Bohème. He has sung with the Victoria and Vancouver Symphonies.
 Kiiri Michelsen, mezzo soprano
Canadian-Norwegian mezzo-soprano Kiiri Michelsen is a versatile performer, praised for her “lovely warm voice and excellent technique”. She has performed with various ensembles and concert series, including the Victoria Baroque Players, the Victoria Choral Society, the Victoria Symphony and the Hornby Island Recital Series. Conductors she has sung with include Timothy Vernon, Tania Miller, Steven Devine and Janos Sandor.
